1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience?

Media Companies use Gender, Age, Income, Education and Occupation

2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics?

Media companies use audience profiling to make their product more appealing and detailed to the audience so that they are more like it to buy it.

3) What are the seven different Psychographic groups? 

The 7 Psychographic groups are Values, Social Status, Desires, Goals, Interests and Lifestyle Choices.

4) Write a brief summary of what each Psychographic group is seeking or motivated by.

The psychographic group is motivated by audience profiling to create more detailed pictures of their audience, seeking to look deeper into the audiences personality, interests, brands and lifestyle. However in Audience profiling advertisers take more interest in social class classification trying to sell a brand or lifestyle therefore they need to know about their audiences.

5) What psychographic group or groups do YOU belong in? Think about your own interests and lifestyle and explain your decision. Remember, you may fit into two or three different groups! 

I think based of the psychographic group I would belong in The Mainstream as to get through my daily life I requires we instead of me as it states.
