What audiences like about video games is the amount of entertainment it holds within 1 system for games that take a while so complete like most Nintendo games such as Super Mario there's a whole plot that could take a while to complete which is what the audience pleasures in video games as it leaves them curious of what would happen next if not playing.

Most criticisms for video games would come from things such as how it's designed and how the game play goes if disliked.

When it was first released there were up to 1 million players on the first day and there are currently 30 million daily players and over 200 million monthly active players right now.

Fortnite is popular as it is a platform that is both constant and engaging carrying only 1 goal by the end of the game with engaging things to do in between which is also what keeps the audience drawn in.

Many people may criticise Fortnite as it is a heavily competitive and highly addictive in order to win possibly needing a significant amount of tries.

I agree with comment 2 as video games unlock a creative mindset if projected to a young audience. Containing problem solving and complex goals to reach it additionally allows players/audience to gain an open mind for multiple kinds of situations than just video games.
