Demographics
BLACKPINK is the most popular K-pop Group Worldwide. They are a 4 person girl group with their ages 25-28, they're under YG Entertainment and are a group that was put together based of their musical strengths. The 4 members are Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. With Jisoo as the oldest and Lisa as the Maknae (Youngest). Jisoo already lived in Busan Korea and decided to become a singer there, Jennie lived in New Zealand and decided to go back to Seoul Korea to be a singer, Rosé lived in Australia and was already singing and song writing until she went to Korea and Lisa was born in Thailand and learned dance before going to Korea. So they're all from different places and most of them more or less Korean. Jisoo - Busan Korea, Jennie - Korean but lived in New Zealand for a while, Rosé - Korean but lived in Australia and Lisa - Thai but came to Korea.
Psychographics
Their lifestyles include working 24/7 365 on their singing and dancing which includes singing and writing songs if possible or recording, dancing to their choreographies for hours and learning new ones. Their lifestyles also include concerts, world tours, adverts, KBS concerts and more. Most of their time goes to keeping up their beauty standards in whatever ways they can (always looking good for the camera and maintaining their weight). They spend hours on end preparing for comebacks and more to please their fans and keep up with the companies standards. This lifestyle doesn't just occur to BLACKPINK but other K-pop groups too (e.g. Stray Kids, IVE, Seventeen, Twice, Enhypen and NMIXX).

3) Pick out three particular shots, scenes or moments in the video that would particularly appeal to BLACKPINK fans. Why did you choose those moments?
3) Pick out three particular shots, scenes or moments in the video that would particularly appeal to BLACKPINK fans. Why did you choose those moments?
I chose this moment because I think it gets the audience exited it gives an area of mystery before the music video fully unpacks and it has good quality of the background and members fans would like.
I chose this moment because I think it's empowering especially because there are female fans/audience they might see this as a strong moment of girl power in their choreography movements and having fun in the music video and because of the concept change.
I chose the ending because new audience would want to know the song name and more about the group as it features the song, group and company names. I believe it's good for new audience because it's an example of K-pop music and if so they'd want to audition themselves but need information and group examples first. It even includes another music video to draw the audience into listening to their music.
The How You Like That Music Video was marketed and promoted with videos on their TikTok, Instagram and Youtube with concept videos, teasers and song mashups, it's marketed with things like selling albums to promote the comeback. Teasers and more is produced all with possible dance covers included.
5) Why is K-pop a global phenomenon and what has helped it to become so popular?
Most believe that K-pop became a global phenomenon because of BLACKPINK and their music however it's not just BLACKPINK but other groups that made K-pop become popular, most K-pop fans assume it is BLACKPINK or BTS because a couple of their songs are way more known than others.
(BLACKPINK isn't a group most people pay attention to anymore, so groups like Stray Kids, Seventeen, Enhypen, Aespa, IVE and TWICE should be looked on more).
