Blog feedback and Learner response

Image
Blog feedback and Learner response I think my strongest piece of Media work this month is the Stranger Things Mise-en-scene work, However I believe the one I potentially struggled with the most was the Doctor Who camerawork analysis. I also believe I have to be more descriptive when presenting my work. WWW: A brilliant start to Media Studies – well done for completing all your blog work! Your fruit bowl is creative and well designed and showcases your technical ability. It is promising that you are aiming for a top Grade for your GCSE grade – let’s achieve this! I really enjoy the Black Pink unit of work too so hopefully you do too! EBI: Ensure that you complete all blog work is completed to a high standard and complete any extension work if you would like to achieve a top grade in the subject. For the camerawork blog could you use the Snipping Tool to screenshot the different camera shots you’ve analysed.

Camera Movement and Editing

Image
Camera Movement and Editing 1. At point 0:38 of the video, I think it is a Pedestal Camera Movement, to give the audience the effect of something being still at 1 moment will turn out to something that's going to happen. 2. At point 1:07 of the video, I think it is a Crane Camera Movement, used to give the audience a good perspective of the of character currently in the air and a better angle to catch a good angle. 3. At point 1:47 of the video, I think it is a Tilt Camera Movement, this is used to give the feeling of everything being around/surrounding the character in various kind of ways. Editing 1. At point 2:10 of the video, the camera movements are shaky and fast giving the effect of something rushed is taking place with the actors movements. 2. At point 3:27 of the video, constant stunts are being performed to give the movie an exiting effect as things are crashing and being set on fire.

Camerawork Blog Tasks

Camerawork Blog Tasks 1. At point 0:15 in the video I think the shot will be a medium shot (MS) or a  medium close up (MCU) is being shown. This camera angle shows the audience what the characters are saying/doing more clearly in the scene. From the CLAMP acronym I would notice the A - actor movement and the M - movement, these are quite noticeable because A - The actors in this scene aren't moving unless they are talking and M - Yet again they are only making the slightest of movements. 2. At point 1:37 in the video I think the camera angle is a close up shot (CU). This angle shows the audience a better in-sight of the characters, we can see that the actors have concerned faces in the scene and because it is more zoomed in the audience gets to see the concern more up close giving them the idea of what kind of emotions the characters are feeling in the current scene. From the CLAMP acronym I can pick up L - lighting and A - actor placement, I can notice these because L - the actors...
